History, Throws & Wrapping
The third workshop in the series steps back before it steps forward. We open with the history of the whip — where these tools come from, how they evolved, and how they found their way into dungeon play. This part is a conversation, not a lecture, so bring your questions and your own knowledge.
From there we move into the throws in earnest: circular, static and dynamic. We’ll work through forehand, backhand and overhand flicks, and the cattleman flick in both its static and dynamic form. We’ll also cover stalling and grounding.
The workshop closes with demonstrations of body wrapping and neck wrapping.
Please note: audience participation is limited to body wrapping ONLY. Neck wrapping is demonstration only, and there is a reason for that.
For those who want to learn, cracker making is on the table again.
