Kink Convention Presenter
Hi My name is Stu. I have been on the scene for 15+ years and have learned a lot in that time and still learning in many areas. I have been throwing whips for the last 13’ish years and have spent many hours watching some very accomplished throwers from across the world and many more just practicing and throwing. I have been lucky enough to have thrown with some very awesome whip throwers from across the world. In the last 4 years I have been running workshops in whips and flogger florentining. Looking forward very much to working with the kink con team this year and meeting you all. Always happy to talk, whips come say hi.

Singletail 1.0

Whips look dramatic, and they are — but they’re also one of the tools where the gap between looking impressive and being safe is widest. This workshop starts where it should: with safety. Before anything else, we cover the risks of whip play, what can go wrong, and how to set up your space so it doesn’t.

From there we look at the three whips most commonly used in dungeon play, and what actually distinguishes them — how they handle, what they deliver, and what each one is suited for. If you’ve ever wondered why one whip feels controlled and another feels wild, this is where that gets answered.

We’ll also go into crackers: the different types, the textures they produce, and how they change the sensation. For those who want to learn, we’ll cover cracker making, so you can maintain and tune your own whips rather than replacing them.

The workshop closes with a demonstration of four core techniques:

  • Bow & Arrow – a controlled entry technique, good for building accuracy
  • Off the Shoulder
  • East Coast Swing
  • Forward Figure of 8 (Florentine) – the two-handed flowing technique

  • Off the Shoulder
  • East Coast Swing
  • Forward Figure of 8 (Florentine) – den flydende tohåndsteknik
