Kink Convention Presenter
Hi My name is Stu. I have been on the scene for 15+ years and have learned a lot in that time and still learning in many areas. I have been throwing whips for the last 13’ish years and have spent many hours watching some very accomplished throwers from across the world and many more just practicing and throwing. I have been lucky enough to have thrown with some very awesome whip throwers from across the world. In the last 4 years I have been running workshops in whips and flogger florentining. Looking forward very much to working with the kink con team this year and meeting you all. Always happy to talk, whips come say hi.

Timing & Two-Handed Work

This is the follow-up to workshop 1, and it assumes you’ve been there — or that you already have the four core techniques in your hands. Where the first workshop was about building each technique on its own, this one is about what happens when you put two of them together, and when you start thinking about time.

Two-handed whip work isn’t just doing the same thing twice. The relationship between the two hands is where the whole thing lives, and we’ll work through three ways of timing them:

  • Together – both whips landing as one
  • Staggered/Alternated
  • Distributed

From there we look at types of throws — four static and three dynamic — and what each one is actually for.

For those who want to learn, we’ll cover cracker making again, so anyone who missed it in the first workshop, or wants to go further with it, can get to it here.

Timing & Two-Handed Work
